Dominique Guevara (she/her), aka Dom, graduated SJSU with a BS in Public Health in the Fall of 2018. She was deeply involved with Akbayan, more specifically in Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN), and eventually became PCN Coordinator for the 2017-2018 academic year. Currently, Dom works as an administrative assistant for a primary care office and is involved in projects that support quality and value, prenatal care, and clinical learning. She hopes to continue her journey within the healthcare field and has an interest in women's health.

Outside of her professional life Dom continues to learn (from skating to crocheting to taking online classes), inconsistently goes to the gym, pets dogs, and is probably watching something on a streaming platform or on social media. As she settles more into adult life, she hopes to reconnect with the Pilipinx community as well as support, guide, listen, and empower however way she can!
