Wendy Ho will be presenting a commendation to FAN SJSU on behalf of County Supervisor, Otto Lee. His biography is down below:
 

Supervisor Otto Lee represents District 3 on the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors which includes Sunnyvale, Milpitas, and the northern neighborhoods of San José including Alviso and Berryessa. He is an intellectual property attorney, Retired U.S. Navy Commander, former Sunnyvale Mayor & Councilmember, and father.

 

Supervisor Lee holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and a law degree from UC Hastings, now known as UC Law San Francisco. He joined the US Navy Reserves in college and would later serve several tours in the Middle East, including the Gulf War. He earned a Bronze Star for his service during the drawdown of troops from Iraq in 2008.

 

Since joining the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Lee has been a leader on mental health, ending homelessness, veterans affairs, and climate action. He also spearheaded efforts to host gun buybacks to address gun violence and responsible ownership.

 

Supervisor Lee lives in Sunnyvale with his wife and three daughters, and their family rabbit.
