Jaria is the youngest elected official in Santa Clara County and serves as a Berryessa Union School District Board Trustee, where she has successfully advocated for millions of dollars in school funding - bringing a new gym and low-flow toilets to Berryessa schools. In her role as the Associate Director of Care Policy at Working Partnerships USA, she leads initiatives to secure childcare for all and improve healthcare equity through various campaigns and coalitions. Jaria also serves as the President of the Silicon Valley Young Democrats club, the largest young democrats club in the South Bay. She developed her advocacy and policy skills working as a Field Representative for the California State Assembly and later as a City Council Policy Director in San Jose. Jaria also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management and a Double Minor in Political Science & Events Management.
